Barcelona

We had an amazing week in Barcelona. It was wonderful bouncing around the city to visit museums, take tours, and of course, enjoy wonderful food every few hours.

Our apartment was in a great location and we rented it through AirBnB. The host has been incredibly helpful and we'd highly recommend it if you are ever here.

La Boqeria & the Food

La Boqeria is a food market, with dozens of stalls serving up anything from prized Jamón ibérico to homemade chocolate. On a couple separate occasions we've dropped by there for snacks or fresh juice. Yum!

Gaudí Architecture

One thing that makes Barcelona special is the renowned architecture of Antoni Gaudí. We arrived with no expectations, but absolutely fell in love with all of his work.

Figueres

We took a day trip to Northern Spain (near the French border) and Figueres. Our desitnation was the Salvador Dalí museum, but the scenery was beautiful. We highly recommend paying for a guided trip here, otherwise the Dalí museum is very confusing.
